What we do with your data when you contact us, and what we deliberately do not do.

Who processes your data
GD IT-Consultancy is responsible for the processing of personal data via this website. You can reach us at info@gditconsultancy.nl. Our Chamber of Commerce number is 82165734.
If you have a question about your data or want to exercise one of your rights, email that same address. We respond within one month, usually much sooner.
This website places no cookies
No cookies are placed, and nothing is stored on or read from your device. There is no visitor analytics, no advertising network and no tracking pixel.
Every part of this site is served from our own server. No fonts, scripts, videos or maps are loaded from third parties, so no one else learns about your visit. That is also why you see no cookie notice: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
What we process when you use the form
If you fill in the contact form, we receive the details you enter yourself, along with your IP address and the time of sending. We use these solely to answer your question and, where there is reason to, to continue the conversation about our services.
The basis for this is your request for contact: the processing is necessary to reply to your message. We process the IP address on the basis of legitimate interest, namely blocking automated spam. The form allows a maximum of five messages per ten minutes per IP address.
- Name — so we can address you
- Email address — so we can reply
- Organisation and subject — optional, to put your question in context
- Your message — the substance of your question
- IP address and timestamp — to prevent abuse of the form
How long we keep it
We keep messages sent via the contact form for a maximum of one month after your question has been dealt with. After that we delete them.
If your message leads to an assignment, the details move into our client administration. Different periods apply there, including the statutory seven-year retention for financial records. We explain that at the time.
The counter that tracks the number of messages per IP address consists of timestamps stored against a hashed form of the IP address, and is cleared automatically after ten minutes.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
To run the website and our email we use our hosting provider. They process data on our instructions and therefore have access to what arrives via the server and the mailbox. The servers are located in the European Union.
If a legal rule obliges us to hand over data, for example to a law enforcement authority, we do so only where that obligation genuinely applies.
How we secure it
All traffic with this website runs over an encrypted connection. There is no database and no login area: your message is not stored on the web server but forwarded straight to our mailbox. As a result there is nothing on the site itself to steal.
Access to that mailbox is limited to the people handling your question and is protected with multi-factor authentication.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can object to the processing and ask to receive your data in a portable file. Send a request to info@gditconsultancy.nl.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, we would rather hear it from you first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Changes
If anything changes about this website or the way we process data, we update this statement. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
